Course Description: It's Vegas, Baby! Breaking News! Entire course has been newly paved and/or graded. Tired of the same old races? Then try something really different. Run is out and back on old railroad track long since removed and now part of the Rail-to-Trails Conservancy and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. We run right above Lake Mead for entire event. Route is on newly packed and paved trails. No steep climbs here, but there are gradual "grades" (3.2%) used in the hauling of supplies to Hoover Dam during the early thirties. Entire elevation gain is only 392 feet. On the way to Hoover Dam, the runner passes through six (6) tunnels on this course in each direction. A GUARANTEED SMOOTH course with ONE LAP ONLY. This is a spectator friendly event, so please bring your family. There is no vehicular traffic on this course, so you may take as long as you want to finish this event. No baby strollers nor animals are allowed on the course during event. Check out: Trail History

Location: 18 miles from Las Vegas in Boulder City NV. Four miles north of the Hoover Dam on Hwy 93 (at the exact 4 mile post) on the property of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Turn on Lakeshore Drive at the Alan Bible Visitor Center. Area locator MAP

  • Super Easy Packet Pick Up
    November 20 to 26th: For Runners who registered on-line by 11/18 or by mail by 11/10 ONLY: Pick Up at Run Bike Swim store. We know this is not possible for a few athletes, so early packet pick up on event day at race site is OK.
  • Late Registration & Late Packet Pick Up: In person November 26 from 2-6 at Run Bike Swim store. This will be the very last chance to register.

Within 14 days or less, there are NO TRANSFERS. You can switch divisions anytime prior to race day for a fee of $5 plus any entry fee differences.
